Mission
The Planning, Design, and Construction office leads a collaborative approach to creating an aesthetically pleasing and functional campus that supports the academic mission. As caretakers of the university’s physical resources, the Planning, Design, and Construction office ensures an integrated and sustainable approach towards design and construction excellence consistent with the highest quality standards of Appalachian State University.
Services We Provide
- Administer the Campus Master Plan and Design Guidelines
- Advise the campus regarding proper planning for the physical environment
- Administer the Capital Improvement process including facility planning, budgeting, programming, design, and construction
